HOBY 2001!
Welcome to 2001 Far West Texas HOBY Seminar in pictures. We
tried the best we could to pick pictures and movies that you would want
to see from your past 2001 seminar. Each link to a picture or movie

FRIDAY The seminar starts by introduction by Big Daddy George and watching of the HOBY Story VIEW: George
The day continues on with a first keynote speaker but there is some time for some buttwriting After some speakers and some fun, each of the 59 strangers are divided into 6 groups and introduces themselves and bonds by making the group chant VIEW: Blue Group
After their introduction to each other, the first panel was about to start. This panel focused on Education. After general session, the strangers broke up into their groups and met each panelist. VIEW: Red Group
After asking some questions and learning some new ideas from the education world, they would now unite again to talk to some leaders in the media world, but before that, they had a have a "shark session" VIEW: Baby Shark Picture
After all the fun of panels, it was time to strut our stuff at the TALENT SHOW! BUT
The Talent Show is now to being with some singing (movie)

After the skits ended, everyone railed up together, no longer as strangers, but as family. |
SATURDAY The sun rises again over Kelly hall at the second day of HOBY. After breakfast, our group moves towards Del Sol Medical Center for a tour of the facility and its third panel of the seminar This was a very important panel because it talked about volunteerism, an important part of HOBY. Not only did they listen to leaders in volunteerism, they also gave up part of their time during the seminar to help someone in need at the hospital with "Get Well" cards. After all the work, it was time to relax at the hospital eating and socializing VIEW: Ambassadors getting food
As we returned from the hospital , we all returned from our trip and to see panel 4 VIEW: Panel 4
After our panel, everyone was motivated by our motivational speaker You might be asking your self, why hasn't this episode had a movie? Well, here it is, the most annoying sound in the world! *Just a comment, I think the girls should say the HO and the guys should say the BY. Just a thought :o) Now what you all have been waiting for, your official group pictures GREEN GROUP last but not least, THE GOLD GROUP The night rolled on with the ambassadors dancing the night away and reflecting the weekend. But the question still remain, which is the best group of all? |
